Human-AI Collaboration with Agent Support: Personalized Education and Intelligent Practice Innovation


Description
This session focuses on the theoretical construction, technological path and practical application of human-AI collaboration supported by various educational AI agents in the context of personalized smart education. It explores how autonomous AI agents can assist teachers, students and educational managers to realize efficient collaboration, deepen the integration of intelligent technology and education and teaching, and promote the innovation of educational models, teaching evaluation and talent training. The session aims to provide theoretical references and practical cases for the high-quality development of AI-driven personalized education through multi-dimensional research on agent technology, collaborative mechanism, scenario construction and effect evaluation.

Introduction of session organizers

Prof. Zixun Hua
Guangdong University of Education, China


Zixun Hua, PhD, Professor and Master Supervisor, is Deputy Director of the Research and Development Planning Office and Deputy Director of the Editorial Department of Journal of Guangdong University of Education; he is also a Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University, USA, and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Physics at South China Normal University. He has presided over a number of research projects, including the National Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Philosophy and Social Science Project of Guangdong Province, Educational Science Planning Project of Guangdong Province, and Planning Project of Guangzhou City, published more than 40 papers indexed by CSSCI, SSCI, EI, etc., and was listed in the Top 1% of Highly Cited Scholars 2024–2025 by China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI).

 

Ruixiang Gao (Associate Research Fellow)
South China Normal University, China


Ruixiang Gao is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Psychology, South China Normal University, and an Associate Research Fellow at the Center for Studies of Psychological Application, South China Normal University, a Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences in Universities under the Ministry of Education of China. He also serves as Director of R&D at DiggMind Psychometric Testing Technology Co., Ltd. His research focuses on children's and adolescents' learning and mental health, with particular interests in psychological measurement, learning assessment, digital mental health services in schools, and technology-enhanced identification and intervention for psychological risks in educational settings. He has published more than 50 papers in journals and outlets such as Journal of Affective Disorders, Teaching and Teacher Education, IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing, and Chinese Social Sciences Today. As a core team member, he has participated in several major research projects, including the National Social Science Fund of China major projects, Constructing a Social Psychological Service System with Chinese Characteristics and Building a Real-Time Monitoring and Intervention System for Individual Psychological Crises; the major commissioned project of the National Education Examinations Authority, The Overall Framework of China's College Entrance Examination Evaluation System; and the major bidding project of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, Educational Quality Monitoring in Guangdong Province.
